Maps drawn where we live
Blue Basin Cartography is a two-person studio on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. We draw campus towns, hill country, and the basin around us.

Two cartographers, one basin
We met making maps professionally in the Tahoe Basin and kept drawing after hours. Mason draws the Driftless hill country in a style borrowed from the Prairie School; Kira works in historical cartography, terrain, and color. Every print starts with terrain, water, and the built places people actually remember.
